In short: My Happy Wedding is a wedding photographer in Irpinia with a studio in Grottaminarda, halfway between Avellino and Ariano Irpino. We work throughout the province of Avellino (Avellino, Ariano Irpino, Grottaminarda, Mirabella Eclano, Villanova del Battista, Atripalda, Mercogliano, Solofra, Montella, Cervinara) with reportage, video and drone.
My Happy Wedding was born in Irpinia. We are based in Grottaminarda and from here we cover weddings throughout the province of Avellino: we know the churches, the reception venues and the light of these hills, and we know how to plan the timings so that no moment is missed.
Whether you marry in town, in a village of Alta Irpinia or on an estate among the vineyards, we tell the story of your day in reportage style, with spontaneous, natural photos.
In the city and its surroundings we photograph weddings in the churches of the historic centre and at the area’s reception venues, such as Palazzo Pecci, Tenuta Leone, Tenuta La Fortezza, Casale dei Baroni, Villa Soglia and Villa Greco.
Ariano Irpino is home to some of the most popular reception venues in Irpinia, including Villa Kristall and I Giardini dell’Eden, Incontro Ricevimenti, Tenuta Peluso Country House and Villa Antico Mulino.
This is our base: from here we can reach the whole province in no time. In town you’ll find venues such as Villa Regina Iconic Event and Regina di Saba, and just a few minutes away are the reception halls of Mirabella Eclano, such as Villa Orsini.
In the hills near Ariano Irpino, Villa Belvedere is a venue where we have told the story of more than one wedding, including those of Paolo and Jessica and of Fabio and Simona: open views, soft sunset light and outdoor spaces perfect for couple portraits.
On the doorstep of Avellino, Atripalda combines its historic centre and churches with the venues of the Sabato valley: ideal for couples who marry in the city and celebrate nearby.
At the foot of Mount Partenio, Mercogliano is linked to the Sanctuary of Montevergine and its views over the valley: a much-loved setting for couple photos.
Around Solofra you’ll find venues such as Solofra Palace and Agriturismo Terranova, for both elegant and country-style weddings.
Surrounded by the green of Alta Irpinia, Montella offers villages, woods and chestnut groves: perfect for an intimate wedding and for couple portraits in nature.
In the Valle Caudina, between Avellino and Benevento, Cervinara has venues such as Villa Camelia and is easy to reach from both provinces.
Knowing where the light falls at sunset on an estate, how long the drive is between the church and the reception, or which spots to use if it rains lets us work without rushing and leaves you more time with your guests.
